Emily`s Kitchen in Santa Rosa

I normally dont enjoy breakfast at restaurants because I make it pretty good at home but the corned hash breakfast was excellent. Staff was very friendly too. I will definitely come again when I'm in town.

A lovely atmosphere, great people & amazing food. This is 'Restaurant Week' and Emily was surprising people with a desert at lunch, today. What a sweet heart. The blood orange cheese cake was luscious!

Great little family restaurant. Emily is always in the restaurant and oversees everything. The servers are very friendly the prices are fair and the food is very good. We ordered an open-faced tuna melt and a pastrami sandwich. The pastrami is homemade and makes for a very very tasty sandwich. The tuna melt has three different cheeses on it and it's open face. If you have any room left after you O'Neill their desserts are all homemade. Don't miss the desserts if you don't have room, take something home you won't regret it.

The food is outstanding, the service is not. If you go, which I recommend if you can overlook the service, expect to wait for the food and do not expect expedient beverage refill service. We were there on a Sunday and the inside seating area was unbelievably loud, if the day is lovely I suggest you sit outside. They take reservations, it is worth calling ahead and worth asking for outside. But choose to go only when you have time to spare and are not sensitive to having timely drink refills; but do try it at least once as the food is exceptional.

My only regret is that I didn't get here sooner. Lovely location, the cutest restaurant, ever. The mirrors are so great. Let's talk about our server, attentive, helpful, and there just when we needed. I opted for a mixed greens salad, my daughter got the tuna melt. Both were delicious! If you are in the area, stop in! And save room for dessert! 👌💓😁

Service on the patio is awful. It took 1.5 hours to get my food. I ended up having to box it and leaving because it took so long. Never got a refill on tea. I had to go inside and ask for the check and a box. When I said it had taken too long to get my food the bald man said I paid for your drink since it took so long. I don't know how the food was since my dog decided to help himself to my $20 meal when we got back into the car. Just a less than acceptable eating experience overall.

Be patient if it’s busy. You won’t be sorry. Best breakfasts and lunch around. The menu is extensive and there are always specials. Biscuits and gravy on Sundays make you slap your paw down. Her quiches are the best according to many, many customers. Cajun Quiche? Who makes that? Emily, that’s who. You gotta try it if you’re a NOLA fan. (Not always available. Call ahead.) And her cheesecakes have made her famous and won ribbons at The Harvest Fair. My favorite dessert is her lumberjack cake. I always feel I am eating something healthy, not just indulgent. It has apples and dates and walnuts. Yum!

My husband was craving a good meatloaf sandwich so I looked on line and found Emily's Kitchen. Wow!! It hit every mark for him. Delicious doesn't begin to describe it. I had the cheeseburger, awesome. French fries were fabulous. We arrived a few minutes before closing on a Sunday afternoon and the staff were very gracious and patient. We felt welcome and not rushed to eat and leave. Great job!!! We will definitely be back for breakfast!!

In town for the Heirloom seed expo. This place was great. Sat outside and the staff did not forget us. Drink order promptly taken. The pancake was huge. Eggs poached to perfection and the local bread was nutty, good spice and flavorful. The bacon crisp but not overly cooked. A good middle ground. Will definitely add this to my list of go to places for next year.

We were looking for a restaurant with patio seating. Emily's was a perfect fit. And, the breakfast menu exceeded our wishes. Over the top quality at a fair price. We heard Emily is retiring. Kudos Emily for creating a wonderful place to dine.

One of the best value's in Santa Rosa, you would have to go long and far to find a place as good as Emily's Kitchen. Their passion for quality food at great prices is only paralleled by their customer service. We traveled from Texas and ate here once a day for 3 days, both my wife and I have food allergies, and we were able to enjoy fantastic food from an exceptional staff. Thank you, Emily, Patrick and the team for making our trip memorable - we felt a part of the Emily's Kitchen Family! Keep making people smile with fantastic food and service one plate at a time!

Loved it. Service was excellent and the special was so spectacular. It was just a meatloaf sandwich but the flavors we're spot on. Highly recommend.

don't remember if I reviewed before, but want to point out what a great place we have in the Montgomery Village, and Santa Rosa. The food is so well prepared, patiently, lovingly tended, and I can say the same about the service, which is prompt, helpful, and kind to the elderly or those in need. You can even take your furry friend and sit outside on the patio which is sheltered from the elements. Thank you Emily and your staff!

Under new ownership, Jewelz's Kitchen was wonderful. I had the Banana Nut French Toast which was delicious! The waitstaff was cheerful & attentive to detail.

Great food, wonderful service very cozy feeling.We had an excellent breakfast and you're able to eat outside. Highly recommend this place. Located in a nice strip mall. Waitresses treat you very well. Lot of smiles.

Truly gifted food preparation, the American breakfast has been saved! Absolutely wonderful people, amazing, attention to detail like I've not seen in a long time. If you are anywhere near Santa Rosa you need to make the trip to Emily's Kitchen

Love, love, love the food, super fresh and delicious. However, the service on the weekends can be a bit slow. Went with group of 7 for 10:00 brunch, coffee took 20 minutes to arrive (we placed our order three times) then they ran out of mugs, half the table had paper cups. At 10:40, we got to order! By 11:00, the two kids dining with us were getting impatient as it "was taking forever". 11:15, another server came over to apologize as the had to "bump our ticket" and serve people ahead of us. 11:45, our food arrived. Luckily, the food was worth the wait as it was very good. Finally left around 1230, but we had a good time. I dont think it's like this all the time, but if your on a set schedule, just let them know and they will move you to the top of the list.

Junky jars of low grade ingredients turned me off. The staff were so rushed that no one smiled or hardly had eye contact with each other or customers. The food was so-so diner fare and not worth the price. I have food sensitivities, and no one could answer my questions. So I had an expensive cup of tea that was not very good. I don't understand the high praise. Maybe there was a pall over the staff and patrons for a reason unknown, but for me? Not enough "fresh" .

The menu and service were beyond my expectations. I truly enjoyed the ambience of this restaurant. Great place to take my family out for lunch.

Easily sat in a comfortable arrangement, greeted by friendly service, whom delivered some elegant entrees that had me indulging. Great place to refill on some delicious food. And accepted my dog as a companion.

The servers are genuinely happy to serve their customers even though my daughter and I arrived 10 minutes before closing. I ordered the meatloaf special and will definitely order it again. The ladies sitting next to us raved about their chocolate cake. A perfect experience.
